Windmills of Our Hearts” is a collection of stories by 15 women, each sharing their personal journey of loss and longing for their loved ones who went missing during the civil war.
I designed the book and created the illustrations after thoroughly reading and connecting with each of the women to get a better understanding and illustrating a scene that can be relatable to the memory.
